The BBMC has just launched our very first world in VR Chat! Odyssey in VRC is a sister sim to the Odyssey artist worlds in Second Life and NEOS VR. This world was created for us by Mr. Ree of BeeVR and features a gallery space, outdoor amphitheatre, video players, wooded trails, and a collection of chill-out spaces. Drop into our new world by searching for “Odyssey” in the VR Chat worlds menu. We will be having an opening event soon, followed by exhibits from Chun Hua Catherine Dong, Deborah Alanna, JE Solo, Lisa Timpf, Yuan Changming, L.X. Beckett and more.
The creation of this virtual world is part of the BBMC’s VR Forward project, made possible thanks to the support of the Digital Now program of the Canada Council for the Arts | Conseil des arts du Canada.
